About Me

MICHAEL BRYANT MARKETER

I have spent a lifetime in the hospitality industry. I have lived and worked in the UK, USA, Africa and Spain. I’ve been a Head Chef, a restaurant owner, Hotel General Manager, Group Marketing Director and a CEO.

At a crossroads in my career, I decided to become proficient in the creative side of marketing and trained in Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Dreamweaver and in 2011 formed my agency “Altered Image”. We’ve built websites, executed digital ad campaigns, designed print marketing materials and specialised in data management, customer relationship management and email marketing. Our watchwords have always been “Personalise your Enterprise”

Our customers are from hotels, restaurants, real estate, yachting world, construction, tourism and travel and we bring a valuable resource to the table for smaller enterprises and start ups. In addition to creative skills and software tech, we are first and foremost marketers and assist with developing strategic marketing plans for business.

We are an ideal fit for a business that cannot stretch to a permanent in house marketing department or a larger business that sees the benefit in out-sourcing specialist tasks. Email marketing is a particular example, since it is still the most powerful digital marketing tool in a business plan. Despite this it is also the one that is most badly executed, when attempted by non-specialists.

As the company name implies, Altered Image does not aim to change your business vision, it simply alters the course it takes to make sure that the vision comes to life in the day-to-day process and management of all relationships. Above all, the Altered Image goal is to ensure marketing claims are matched by product delivery and and vice versa.
What I have learned along the way is the importance of direct relationships with the customer. And that although there must be a focus and understanding of advertising, PR and other marketing disciplines, without the expertise of how to turn the consumer into a prospect, prospect into a client and a guest into advocate, real overall growth is probably limited. The challenge is to build the right relationships with the right consumers to make the cash register ring and deliver a consumer experience that is second to none.We help you meet that challenge.
